Progress…The Saga Continues

Ok so, I need to post about stuff that happened a week ago. I think you’ll survive. Its like the olden days…with really old news; like when you see someone reading a newspaper…and all you can think is…”No? No internet, television, or radio? You need day old news?”

My pincher was out of town and I am puppy sitting away from my lovely sister who I contract to take awkward photos of me in my underwear and swimsuit top. So I am just going to add photos and captions, because that is what people really want to see. Enough of this rambling!

COOL STUFF:

We launched plantbuilt.com! We each have our own profile; there is a page for donations, links to the show! We also got our information for T-shirts, so SOON I will be sporting a rad tank top with the PlantBuilt logo, as well as a crew neck sweatshirt…BOOM!

.
FOODNESS:

I went 6 weeks without soy. I didn’t see much difference. That being said, I eat too much soy. You think you are eating something different, but it is all made from the same product. THAT being said, I will eat soy, but make sure to vary my protein sources more carefully. Here are photos of some of the delicious soy things I ate for Soy-turday. (The day I ate all soy to celebrate 6 weeks soy free aka test the soy allergy theory.)

Hot Dog Chicago Style. I ate bread. HA! Just one piece though.

This was the best tasting tofu I have ever had.

Cajun crusted soy curls, baked until crispy and served wtih sprouts.

Soyrizo and kidney bean enchilada with TEESE over lettuce with homemade sauce and tomatoes
Other FOODNESS: Continuing to prep all of my meals on a weekly basis. Mostly salads for lunch; doing smoothies for breakfast. On Soy-turday I didn’t have a smoothie or eat a salad and I felt like that made my meals too heavy. I need the salad and the smoothie in my day. The foods are just cleaner and make me feel better.
Meals. Breakfast smoothies, salads, and snacks.

Snacks and Stacks of Salad.

UGLINESS:
I spent six weeks not eating soy…hoping it would make my face clear up, or that I would see some major difference. I didn’t. So I spent an entire Saturday eating SOY. As pictured above. I took some photos the first few days after I started eating soy and have seen little difference since then.
I went and chatted with the dermatologist, continue with the copper, zinc, and  omega 3s. I got a blood test and am waiting on the results of that to see if my hormones are out of whack. Apparently it takes a couple weeks for those answers. Here are some photos…Sorry…I look pretty much the same now, some of the pimples are just in different spots...So, yeah...not helpful.
Friday before Soy-Turday:

FIGURE:
Damn to all of my friends and family who did not take the time to mention how chubby I was getting in winter. I killed my last pinch. Lost 1.4 pounds total, gained 1.15 Lean body mass, lost 1.57% of fatty fatty fat fat percentage. (2.55lbs) So that was fun. I was happy.

Here are photos from Mid January, late February, late March, and last weekend. I need to shed more fat, my legs need to get ripped, my ass still seems to want to rest on the top of my hammies, my arms are lacking, and my back needs more. I have about 16 weeks left until the competition. I think I can do it.

I have been working on posing also, I am taking a private class with a professional soon. Here is what I learned from the internet…

One day I woke up and looked in the mirror and I sort of had abs. So here is what that looks like. HUGE vanity photo…but I don’t care. I will leave you with these. Comparisons are one week apart.
